Board of Education

Building on a Legacy of Leadership

The Pendleton Board of Education was established in 1959. Early members established a legacy of commitment to educational leadership, community responsibility, and child advocacy. Today, members of the Pendleton County Board of Education are committed to maintaining and building on that legacy as PCS grows to meet new needs throughout our communities.

Unless otherwise noted, the Pendleton County Board of Education meets on the third Monday of each month at 6 p.m.  Board meetings take place in the District Training Room (2nd Floor) at Sharp Middle School. People wishing to address the Board at a regular scheduled Board meeting may sign up to speak at the podium, prior to the start of the meeting. For more information about the meetings, contact the Central Office at 859-654-6911.

Board Meeting Dates are located on the right side of this page under the "Meetings" heading. Board agendas are posted on the District home page prior to each Board meeting. To access prior Board meeting agendas & approved Board meeting minutes, click on "Board Meeting Archive" under the "Documents" heading to the right side on this page.
