CINSAM is hosting a variety of camps this summer for students from 3rd - 12th grade! The summer camps are hosted by NKU faculty and staff on topics in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Congratulations to February "Great News"

The Board of Education met February 19 and during the Great News portion of the meeting recognized several individuals.  Students who were selected to All-State Band & Choir, the Pendleton High School CheerCats, and Ms. Tina Record were recognized for their outstanding achievements.

SMS CheerCats Receive Academic Awards

Eight Sharp CheerCats were honored by the Northern Kentucky Cheer Coaches Association for their academic success.  Congratulations to Maddie Wanstrath, Haley Volz.  Standing: Krystal Kuessner, Kynlee Cornett, Anna Baxter, Courtney Baird, Savannah Holland, and Cassidy Reed.


CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to Pendleton County High School!!  You helped SAVE 117 lives at the February 6 Blood Drive.  Thank you for giving the gift of life and for all your support!


GREAT Day for PC Archery in their first NASP Region Tournament.  NASP Region 8 Individual Boys High School and Overall Boys Champion is PC Archer Clint Moore with a 292 score.

Clint fired 23 perfect 10's including 14 of 15 from the 10 meter and two 50 rounds.  He qualifies for the individual NASP KY State Competition in March.

PHS Academic Team On Their Way to State!

Congratulations to the Pendleton County High School Academic Team who did well at Regional Competiton. Several students are advancing to state and the team placed 2nd overall in the region.  For the first time since 1997 the Quick Recall Team will advance to state competition!

On Saturday, January 31, Sharp Middle School Academic Team traveled to Campbell County Middle School for Regional Governor’s Cup.   Allie Redden placed fourth in Arts and Humanities written assessment, and Sharp’s FPS team consisting of Aaron Thomas, Casey Jones, Leah Moore, and Sarah Monroe, took first place!  Allie and the FPS team will travel to Louisville in March for State Governor’s Cup competition.

PHS Honors the 2005 10th Region Champion Wildcats

It had been 34 years since a Wildcat Basketball team had held the 10th Region Trophy and had a spot in the Sweet 16. But 2005 was primed to be a magical year for the Wildcats, PCHS and the Pendleton County community.

Another '05 Jersey Goes to the Rafters

Tyler Mains became the 11th PCHS basketball player/coach/supporter to have a banner hung in the rafters at PCHS to honor their accomplishments and support to PCHS Basketball.

Several months remain before the Kentucky Core Academic Standards Challenge closes. Has your voice been heard – either in support of the current English/language arts and mathematics standards or have you made a suggestion on how one or more standards could be improved? Since the feedback from the challenge will be used in the Kentucky Department of Education’s regular review of the standards, it is critical that educator voices be heard. Don’t delay, take the Kentucky Core Academic Standards Challenge today! Sharp Middle School Academic Team Excels at Districts

Congratulations to Sharp Middle School's Academic Team who did well at District Competition.  The Quick Recall team went undefeated in four rounds of competition and took 1st place, and Sharp’s Future Problem Solving team tied for first place.

Welcome New Board Members

The Pendleton County Board of Education met Thursday, January 8, at 7:00 pm in the District Training Room at Sharp Middle School.  Ms. Jolieen Bertram and Mr. Elmer Utz took their oaths of office prior to the meeting at 6:45 pm.  Ms. Bertram will be representing Division 2 held by Dr. William Verax and Mr. Utz will be representing Division 5 previously held by Mr. Daryl Mullins.  Congratulations to Ms. Bertram and Mr. Utz!
